Front cover

The front cover was painted by the well known water colour artist, David Thomas R.I.B.A. from the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Designing the front cover was not an easy task and several proofs were considered before the final copy was agreed upon. The author, along with the artist, considered several options before proposing their favourite to the publishers. As you might expect, the publishers chose an alternative option.

The publishers were correct with their choice...
